Day1: Kampala Lake Mburo National PARK& boat cruise
In the morning after breakfast you will set off to Lake Mburo National Park. This is Uganda’s smallest park but with great concentration of wildlife including zebras, buffalos, giraffes,impalas and different species of antelopes and birdssuch as African Fish Eagle,king fishers to mention but a few. Along the way will be a stop at the UgandaEquator, then you will proceed with your journey. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you will head for a boat cruise along Lake Mburo where the park derives its name.Afterwards you will have an evening game drive on your way back to the lodge.
Day2: Transfer to Bwindi ImpenetrableNational Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive, in search for more game. Afterward you will head to Bwindi impenetrable forest predominant for mountain gorillas.Along the way will be lunch.
Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, after checking in at your lodge you will have a relaxed quite evening as you enjoy the great views of the surrounding areas.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking& cultural or community walk
After breakfast you will head to the park headquarters for briefing about the park and about the trekking activity. Later you will be led by your guide/ ranger in to the forest in search for the gorilla group/family.Trekking can take as low as 2 hours or as long as 7 hours depending on the gorilla group movements. Once you meet the gorilla family you will be allowed a maximum of one hour to stay with the group. Afterward you will begin walking back out of the forest.
In the afternoon after lunch, you may opt to have a community walk around the nearby villages, this will expose you to different unique ways of living of the people in these communities, most especially the Batwa people who were once inhabitants of the impenetrable forest.
Day 4: Transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park/ Ishasha tree climbing Lions
In the morning after breakfast, you will head to the southern part of queen Elizabeth national park / ishasha sector predominant for tree climbing lions. You will have a game drive through this sector in search for the tree climbing lions and other game.
In the afternoon after lunch you will continue with your drive to the northern sector up to your lodge.Along the way expect to meet big game like elephants, buffalos to mention but a few.
Day 5: Game drive & Launch cruise
After breakfast you will head out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National park, in search for Lions, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, leopard, spotted hyenas to mention but a few, plus numerous bird life. This park alone has more than 600 different bird species including the winter visitors.
In the afternoon after lunch you will head for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel, expect to meet numerous wildlife and bird species along the banks of the channel that connects two rift valley lakes, George and Edward. Afterwards you will have a game drive as you drive heading back to your Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National park
In the morning after your breakfast, you will drive heading to the Primates capital of East Africa Kibale National park. You will have a stop at Uganda Equator for a photo moment before continuing with the drive will take you through the beautiful crater lakes region with amazing lush green and beautiful scenery. Arrive in the afternoon at your lodge when it`s time for lunch.
Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp walk
After Breakfast you will proceed to the park Headquarters for briefing about the different Flora and fauna in this park. Afterwards your guide/ ranger will lead you as you walk inside the forest. Along the trek expect find different types of primates,including; the blue cheeked mangabey, red, white nosed monkey tailed monkey, black and white colobus to mention but a few.
In the afternoon after lunch, you will head to Bigodi swamp walk. This will give you a chance to encounter 8 different primate’s species and almost 200 bird speciesincluding the beautiful great blue turaco.
Day 8:Drive to Kampala/Entebbe Airport
In the morning after Breakfast you will drive out heading to the capital. The drive will take you through the beautiful ever green scenery and beautiful large tea plantations. You will have Lunch Along the way and on Arrival you will be transferred to your hotel or to the Airport depending on your Flight schedule.
